During a September holiday, my husband developed Covid symptoms. We drove straight home to an empty fridge and a positive Covid test. Our neighbours kindly offered to get groceries for us while we were isolating at home. I was concerned that I would probably get Covid too, and that I would already be in the contagious stage so didn’t want to go out. It was good to have fresh fruit and vegetables without risking anyone else’s health, and to know that people cared about us. Now both recovered, we are passing on the blessing to another friend who is sick with Covid. I just completed a grocery drop on her porch today.
