Verna Knight

My husband recently passed. We were both married before, so this was our second marriage. He has 4 children, but unfortunately his only son was not in contact with his family. When the funeral arrangements were being made his sisters were adamant that he was not going to be included. I insisted that was not right, and that he should be notified and could make his decision from there. As none of the girls wanted to call him, I kept him informed of the arrangements being made. He came to the funeral, and everything went smoothly even though there was tension among the siblings. A few days after the funeral, he came out to the country to visit me, and we had a great afternoon sharing feelings and even had a few laughs. I will continue reaching out to him and pray for the best.
