During a visit to a veterinary clinic with my 16-year-old dog, we ended up waiting outside due to the construction. A stranger who went outside with me asked why my dog was there today. I said he was having too many seizures, and that we might have to put him down today. He was shaken by my honest response. When we came out from visiting the veterinarian, to my surprise, the man was waiting for us to ask how it went for my Mr. Magoo. I was touched by his genuine care and kindness. Fortunately for Mr. Magoo, the seizure medication will let him continue for a little while and hopefully get to see his best friend come back from university at Christmas.
