About 25 years ago, when I lived in Toronto, I was very dependent on the transit system to get to work, etc. I always bought a monthly TTC pass, as it made the most sense financially. One Saturday morning, I realized I’d lost the pass that I had recently bought for that month. The next morning, an older man appeared at my door. He had travelled all the way across the city to hand deliver my TTC pass that he had found. To this day, I have never forgotten his random act of kindness.
